February 12, 2015

The Immersive Sound Experience room at ISE2015 was packed out yesterday evening for an Auro-3D® premiere of the new album by Ozark Henry. The exclusive preview of Paramount was introduced by Piet Goddaer, the voice of Belgian artist Ozark Henry, and Wilfried Van Baelen, CEO of Auro Technologies and inventor of the Auro-3D® format, at an event hosted by Datasat CEO Ciaran Doran.

The forthcoming album Paramount is a collaboration between Ozark Henry and the National Orchestra of Belgium, conducted by Stefan Blunier, General Music Director of the City of Bonn, Chief Conductor of both the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn and Bonn Opera. The album was mixed by Ronald Prent, and mastered by multiple Grammy award-winner Darcy Proper. Paramount will be released in Belgium and the Netherlands on 6 March, the day after the first of three sold-out concerts in Belgium with Ozark Henry and the NOB. The project will then be rolled out worldwide over the course of 2015. The album will be released simultaneously on vinyl, CD, digital, and Pure Audio Blu-ray. The Blu-ray will include an Auro 9.1 mix alongside 5.1 and stereo mixes.

As Piet said, ‘Auro-3D is the most natural way of listening to music. Music is all about emotion and space - and this is the most natural space you can imagine!'

Wilfried Van Baelen, said,  ‘This is the closest you can get to experiencing Ozark Henry live in your living room. It is amazing how much more you hear with the Auro-3D mix - it feels like you are inside the music, creating a totally new emotional experience.'

The Auro-3D® album tracks from Paramount were played backover the Auro 11.1 channel system in the Immersive Sound Experience room, powered by Datasat, Auro Technologies, Genelec, Lang AG andScreenline.
