Bill Anderson, Home Theatre Custom Installation Pioneer Dead At 63

March 18, 2015

Bill Anderson died unexpectedly and suddenly of a heart attack yesterday. He was a young 63.

I have known Bill since the early 1980s when he owned the ONLY high-end audiophile/videophile brick-and-moral store in Southern California. We became friends, as I often visited his store and later hung out with him during about 14 trips to Mexico sponsored by Sam Runco of Runco International. He was a close friend of the family, and particulally our daughter and son-in-law, Tricia and Simon Spears,

Bill was a pioneer in home theatre and the custom installation arena presenting to enthusiasts the best audio and video equipment to optimize their home theatre experience. He loved our business and was an experienced contributor to those manufacturers whose products he believed in. To his credit, he has helped hundreds of people realize their home theatre dreams.

And he was a great guy and living father.

He will be missed and always fondly remembered as we reminisce about the “good ol’ days.”
