CEDIA: Custom Installations On The Rise

A new report from the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) sees a third straight year of growth for the residential electronic systems industry, thanks to increased consumer interest in high-end home entertainment, security, and whole home systems. By the end of 2015, CEDIA expects systems integrators and installers to have completed more residential installation projects compared to the last four years, with gross revenues hitting $2.5 million, up from $2.2 million last year (and more than double 2011’s $1.2 million)…
