CES 2016 MONSTER RETAILER AWARDS AND CONCERT WILL FEATURE A SPECIAL STAR-STUDDED MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON

“Heal the World, A Tribute to Michael Jackson” Will Feature Performances by Some of Today’s Biggest Stars, Including Members of the Jackson Family

Monster the world leader in high-performance audio, is proud to announce details about its 2016 Monster Retailer Awards and Concert. On Thursday, January 7 Monster will present “Heal the World, A Tribute to Michael Jackson,” a star-studded gala featuring some of the biggest talents in music today, including several of the Jacksons themselves. The performers, whose names will be announced on January 1, will be backed by a 30-piece orchestra arranged and conducted by Grammy award-winning producer and engineer Vassal Benford.  The concert will include some of MJ’s most popular songs, including the night’s theme song, “Heal the World,” Michael’s poignant 1992 anthem, co-produced by Bruce Swedien, who will be among the evening’s special guests.

More than 5,000 CE professionals are expected to attend the invitation-only Monster Retailer Awards and Concertat the AXIS Theater Powered by Monster, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s 7,000-seat state-of-the-art live concert venue. At the event, attendees will also learn who will be honored with the prestigious Monster Retailer Awards. Winners will be chosen in a variety of categories including the top award, the Gold, for “Most Monsterous Retailer of the Year.” Attendees will also learn about Monster’s bold moves for 2016 and beyond, including expanded relationships with existing partners, as well as new partners and new fitness, lifestyle and gaming headphones, additions to the critically-acclaimed SuperStarTM line of bluetooth speakers, and a new mobile line to keep music loving road warriors connected and charged.

 Legendary Monster CES Concerts: Because the Music Matters

Over the years, it’s been our great honor and privilege to present so many iconic artists to CES attendees. This year’s tribute to Michael Jackson is truly fitting. Past Monster Retailer Award concerts at CES have featured music greats like Steve Miller, Alicia Keys, Diana Ross, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Crosby, Stills and Nash, James Brown, Earth, Wind and Fire, John Legend, Chicago and Fleetwood Mac.
