With A Bullet To The Head From Samsung, 3D TV Is Now Deader Than Ever

3D was a tremendous breakthrough in the home theatre experience. Unfortunately, the studios over-priced their 3D releaes so that they have become unaffordable to most families who have displays that support 3D. Now this bad news from Samsung, which at least, should continue to produce the 3D feature as an option. Ultra HD is not 3D! And never will. It will remain a two dimensional experience. Home theatre enthusiasts are now dealth a blow. How this will impact whether studios will cease releaseing 3D version of their films in the United States is still unknown. On the other hand, 3D is very successful in China.
