LG ANNOUNCES INITIAL PRICING AND AVAILABILITY FOR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED 2017 SUPER UHD TV LINEUP FEATURING NANO CELL™ TECHNOLOGY

WHAT: LG today released the initial availability and pricing for its new 2017 LG SUPER UHD TV lineup. Details on additional models will be announced at a later date. LG’s 2017 SUPER UHD TVs offer the most advanced color-enhancing LCD panel to date featuring LG’s proprietary Nano Cell™ technology. Nano Cell technology combines an expanded color gamut with the ability to more accurately create those colors, resulting in superior picture quality regardless of viewing angle.

All 2017 SUPER UHD TVs feature Active HDR to render brighter scenes and greater shadow details when displaying HDR content. Active HDR allows LG TVs to process the picture scene by scene, inserting dynamic data where needed. In addition, 2017 LG TVs support the full palette of HDR formats, including Dolby Vision TM , HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). This versatility is compounded by the new HDR Effect feature, which processes standard definition content to improve brightness in specific areas and enhance contrast ratios, rendering more precise images.
