LG Stakes Claim To Super Premium TV Market

LG Electronics is about ready to release its 2017 Super UHD lineup of LED TVs to the U.S. and Korean markets.

The 2017 Super UHD lineup features Nano Cell technology, which presents content with approximately one nanometer-sized particles for more accurate color reproduction. The Nano Cell display absorbs stray light waves and filters out specific colors for what the company calls greater precision, rendering each color exactly as it was intended. For example, according to LG, the color red on conventional TVs can blend with other color wavelengths, such as yellow or orange, causing the color to fade and take on a yellowish tint. LG Nano Cell reduces instances of color fading, image instability and other color degradation issues.
