CEDIA is pleased to announce that it has become a partner of the Design Leadership Network (DLN). The DLN seeks to promote growth and professional practices in the high-end residential and related hospitality design markets by creating educational experiences for its members. CEDIA has joined the organization with the goal to connect members with the DLN’s broad membership base of interior designers, architects, landscape architects and design brands for future technology and design collaboration.

“Working with the Design Leadership Network aligns with our strategy to build awareness among the design and build industry of the resource CEDIA members can be to their projects.  We look forward leveraging a number of opportunities that will open up further business opportunities for our members,” said Giles Sutton, senior vice president of industry engagement, CEDIA. “We are excited about our partnership with this far-reaching organization.”

CEDIA will be attending the DLN’s Partner Forum in New York City June 4, 2019, where DLN’s corporate partners and media partners gather for an exchange of ideas and opportunities. The DLN will introduce CEDIA and the association’s insights on the future of home technology. CEDIA will actively participate in all DLN programs and forums including the “think tank” Design Masters Council.

“The intersection of design and technology in residential design is an essential topic today.  We are excited to bring our design professionals together with CEDIA members to explore the potential for fully integrated and highly functional interiors,” said Peter Sallick, founder and co-host, Design Leadership Network.

The new partnership is just one of several ways CEDIA is seeking to build awareness with this audience.

“We are finding that design and build professionals are hungry to learn about technology. We had an incredibly successful show at Design and Construction Week 2019. We presented 4 courses, sat on 6 panel sessions, and hosted 10 CEDIA Talks in the CEDIA Booth, “ said Cris Pyle, vice president of marketing and industry relations. “CEDIA is continuing that education effort with a series of design and technology summits that will provide continuing education opportunities to design and build professionals. These efforts combined with our successful CEDIA Outreach Instructor program are ensuring that the CEDIA message is reaching this audience in more ways than ever before. “
