In these trainings, participants learn to master and bring the home theater entertainment experience to life.  You can take the THX Home Theater Level 1 (Home Theater Installation) and  Level 2 (Home Theater Room Design) either online and or in-person.  THX certification is a globally recognized assurance of uncompromising quality, consistency and performance. THX blends art, technology and the dynamics of real world viewing environments to ensure products deliver the artist’s true vision. In this training, you’ll learn  the best practices in home theater design from THX engineers and home theater industry experts. Register for our online and hands-on workshops and build your audio visual talents with specialized insider-knowledge, tools, and techniques to implement the latest technology, choose the right electronics, and more. Use the THX Professional Portal to navigate study guides, course exams, and exclusive certification resources.

Specifics:

- Level 1 is the eight hour introduction to home theater installation taught by renowned industry veteran Dave Pedigo. It is $500 for in-person or $350 online, and it is also recorded so that if you miss any part of it, replay is available. Bonus: Students who take and pass the THX Level 1 exam are given a THX calibrator DVD which they can use to help set up both audio and video systems.   

- The THX Level 2 is a 16-hour class, two day training focused on home theater room design, also taught by home theater expert, Dave Pedigo.   This is a highly interactive class that has the students design a high performance home theater from start to finish. Bonus: At the end of the class, students receive software to help them make the critical calculations needed to design a theater. 

-  In addition to the training, upon enrollment, registrants gain access to the THX Professional Portal which includes navigate study guides, course exams, and exclusive certification  resources for your level of study.
