SIM2 To Demonstrate Two CONCEPTS At CEDIA 2019: More Than Just Two Products!

Here is what you will see coming to the SIM2 booth at CEDIA.

1. THE UNIQUE, REAL “OPTICAL HDR” PROJECTION SYSTEM 
The first “concept” is a projection system based on 2 DIFFERENT projectors  that give 2 different contributions  to image quality. Having 2 light modulators is the basis of a real HDR display system. 
SIM2 has been producing for over 10 years, the most extreme, high performance HDR flat screen display in the industry (with 8,000 cd /sqm and 15,000:1 
ANSI contrast), and applied this long-term hard-won experience to projection technology. 
The DUAL NERO 4S system on demo at CEDIA, is based on 2 custom-made Nero 4S projectors, which uses  the well- known SIM2 flagship 4K UHD HDR unit.

2. THE “INVISIBLE” LARGE SCREEN TV - Into furniture or into ceiling 
The second “concept” is a UST (Ultra Short Throw) projection display specifically designed to be virtually invisible once installed inside furniture or  inside a ceiling: the xTV line.
The xTV line feature a top flat Crystal glass covering all the display thus making the xTV the only UST device without a hole in front of the lens. This solution is the only one to grant perfect integration inside furniture or a ceiling, where the top crystal glass of the xTV is perfectly aligned with the top of the furniture,  or the ceiling. To cancel any optical aberration (due to the light passing through the glass with an angle), SIM2 prepares the top crystal glass of the xTV with 20 optical coating on the surfaces. This produces a perfect image on the screen.
