DTS Has Announced Two Additions To The Play-Fi Audio Ecosystem

• Philips Televisions and Speakers Join DTS Play-Fi Audio Ecosystem – TPV Technology Limited (TPV) has become the newest partner in the DTS Play-Fi whole-home wireless audio ecosystem. TPV, the world’s leading monitor and LCD TV manufacturer and licensor, will integrate DTS Play-Fi technology into its televisions, sound bars, and speakers for sale under the Philips brand in Europe, China, Russia, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
• Sharp Joins DTS Play-Fi Audio Ecosystem – Universal Media Corporation (UMC) will develop Sharp branded sound bars and speakers for Europe featuring DTS Play-Fi technology. Sharp products will add unique DTS Play-Fi enabled wireless audio features, including surround sound, perfectly synced multi-room TV audio, app-based headphone streaming, and compatibility with high-resolution music services.
