Kaleidescape’s new entry-level 4K movie player. Providing lossless audio and reference-quality 4K video output, Strato E works on its own or as part of a larger Kaleidescape system. Available for residential, marine and commercial theatres.

Uncompromising picture quality. Strato E plays 4K movies in standard dynamic range, HDR10, and Dolby Vision with superb upscaling of HD and SD quality content to 4K resolution.

Kaleidescape movies are also unconstrained by file size limits, enabling our content team to maximize the video quality transcoded from studio mezzanine files, unlike Blu-ray discs that have a maximum file size limit.

Standalone

Kaleidescape’s entry-level 4K movie player. When standalone, Strato E stores about a half-dozen high-bitrate movies on an internal, solid-state drive. Strato E features the same streamlined interface as Strato V and Strato M, optimized for navigating a small movie library.

Strato E can download a Kaleidescape movie in minutes over gigabit Ethernet. Downloads become a candidate for automatic deletion 48 hours after playback, making room for more movies. Purchased movies can be re-downloaded at any time.

Installation Made Easy

Strato E can easily be tucked behind a TV or placed on a shelf. For a more customized installation, official Kaleidescape rack shelves and wall mount solutions are available.
