NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — Sept. 3, 2025 — ARCAM’s acclaimed Radia Series took the hi-fi world by storm in 2023, setting a new standard for performance and design. This dazzling debut was followed in 2024 by the addition of a new streamer and two new streaming amplifiers. Now, ARCAM’s engineers are pushing the boundaries even further with the new A5+, A15+, and A25+, a trio of integrated amplifiers that raise the bar even higher. The latest lineup will be shown for the first time in North America at CEDIA Expo 2025, Sept. 3-6 in Denver, Colorado, Booth #2512.
The three new Radia+ models build on the DNA of the outgoing A5, A15, and A25 with upgraded circuitry, refined components, and intelligent power management, achieving enhanced performance. Each amplifier incorporates ARCAM’s latest Bluetooth 5.4 platform, featuring Snapdragon Sound (AptX Lossless) for bit-perfect CD-quality streaming, LE Audio, and Auracast, which allows one-to-many wireless playback without the need for pairing.
Both the A15+ and A25+ now include HDMI eARC – a connectivity upgrade over their predecessors. The Class G-powered A25+ also gains a precision-cut glass front panel that sharpens and brightens the display, complementing the ST25 streaming partner. It receives the most substantial update of the range, with a new transformer featuring a dedicated winding for the digital and DAC circuitry, double linear regulation in the analogue power supplies, and further power and mains filtering refinements to lower impedance and enhance overall clarity.
The transformer upgrades in both the A15+ and A25+ further reduce unwanted current within the chassis; meanwhile, the A5+ benefits from component refinements that cut PCB interference and lower power supply impedance. The A25+ design also incorporates an ESS9018 DAC dedicated to SPDIF inputs, delivering superior audio fidelity.
Noise reduction remains a key engineering focus. By selectively powering down idle components, the overall noise floor is significantly decreased. For example, the DAC PCB is powered down when an analogue input is used; the Bluetooth and HDMI modules are powered off with the Autoswitch features disabled; and the trigger input is powered down when no cable is connected – all measures that contribute to a cleaner power supply environment.
“With the A5+, A15+, and A25+, we’ve taken everything people love about the Radia amplifiers and pushed performance to the next level. From the upgraded circuitry and next-generation Bluetooth to the expanded connectivity, every change enhances the user experience,” said Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy and Planning at ARCAM and HARMAN Luxury Audio. “These are amplifiers built for the way people enjoy music today, and for many years to come.”
