DVN-2000 Highlights The DVN-2000 accepts a variety of video signals including composite, S-Video, and SDI in both PAL and NTSC formats. Audio input support includes two balanced analog as well as AES/EBU digital channels. The DVN-2000 uses an adaptive field/frame MPEG-2 Main Profile @ Main Level algorithm, achieving a variable bit rate of 256Kbps-24Mbps. The audio and video data is encoded in real-time and the compressed data is transmitted using the DVB-ASI/SPI format (SMPTE-310M is optional). It performs real-time multiplexing and complies with industry standards, providing compatibility with a wide range of distribution applications. A front panel LCD display and keypad provide a user-friendly operator interface for direct control. An RS232 serial interface supports remote control applications. The product is targeted at terrestrial and satellite television broadcast, Digital News Gathering (FNG/ENG/DSNG) and other video distribution and multicast applications.
