Widescreen Review (WSR) published a story on its Web site on April 12, 2000 concerning Miramax Filmsí developments with digital cinema. The story has since been retracted, due to information that is acknowledged by WSR to be unconfirmed and inaccurate.Miramax is indeed taking aggressive strides in the anticipated transition of the film industry to digital cinema. The company is currently pursuing new and innovative projects, with the initiative to be the leader among Hollywood film distributors in digital cinema.
