RadioShack reported total retail sales for March increased 17 percent to $346.9 million from $297.3 million last year. On a comparable store basis, sales increased 14 percent for the month, when compared to the prior year period.""Our strong sales results in March, led by audio video products, especially direct-to-home satellite systems, resulted in RadioShack's fifth consecutive quarter of double-digit comparable sales growth,"" stated CEO Leonard Roberts.Year-to-date sales were $1,012.8 million this year compared to $876.9 million last year representing an increase of 15 percent.
