THXÆ To Incorporate New System Setup Utilities For DVDs

Lucasfilm THXÆ has developed a new feature for future THX Digitally Mastered DVDs that will allow consumers to set up and calibrate their audio and video systems. Known as THX Optimodeô, the feature will be accessible via a menu selection, and will include instructional information, audio test tones and a set of standard video test signals. The first title with THX Optimode will be ""Fight Club,"" to be released June 6, 2000. Additional test/setup material will become available with future titles.
