A new addition to the VIA!ô line of control products will feature EscientÆ CD management technology, the systemís maker announced. Escientís TuneBaseÆ Pro MK-I will be modified and private labeled for ELAN as VIA!Music Managementô under the OEM agreement between ELAN Home Systems and Escient Convergence Group.Working closely with ELAN engineers, Escient has modified its unique TuneBase graphical interface to fit with the popular VIA! 6.4 Touch Panel. With the new VIA!Music Management, homeowners can access their CDs by artist, title, album cover art and other categories from any VIA! Touch Panel in the home. An additional video output port on VIA!Music Management allows homeowners also to access and select CDs through their televisions using a wireless keyboard or remote.The VIA!
