CEDIA EXPO 2000 To Feature CEDIA's ""Garden Of High Definition Delight"" Exhibit To Showcase The Latest Direct View And High Definition Display Devices

The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association's (CEDIA) Garden of High Definition Delight will be among 300-plus exhibits featured at CEDIA EXPO 2000, from September 6-10 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. ""The Garden of High Definition Delight will offer more than 14,000 expected attendees at CEDIA EXPO 2000 a chance to view the latest High Definition capable display devices in one central exhibit,"" said CEDIA's Executive Director Billilynne Keller. The devices will be arranged by type within three different sections of the exhibit and will give attendees the chance to view like technologies side-by-side. Each section will be arranged alphabetically by company name and detailed information about each product and its manufacturer will be listed beside each device. Touch screen controls will be placed along side the displays to allow attendees to choose to view the various programming feeds available. Viewable feeds will include 1080i footage supplied from a Sencore High Definition Recorder/Player System, and feeds from Indianapolis' NBC, CBS and DIRECTVÆ affiliates.CEDIA's Garden of High Definition Delight was created and produced by Fredrick Ampel of Technology Visions with M. Heiss Consulting exclusively for CEDIA EXPO 2000. All manufacturers who are exhibiting at CEDIA EXPO 2000 and market direct view or rear view projection High Definition capable display devices were invited to participate in the comprehensive exhibit.
