The new flagship of Phase Technology's Custom Installation Speaker Series, Model CI-110, features the company's innovative user-adjustable variable-axis soft-dome tweeter for added flexibility in placement options. Performance Home Theatre Phase Technology's Cl-110 features their proprietary Unicellô treatment. This material, said to be highly absorbent, is recessed on a one-inch-thick MDF baffle, in order to dampen unwanted driver resonances and substantially reduce transmitting vibrations to walls.The Cl-110 also features the soft-dome driver, invented and patented by the company's founder, Bill Hecht, as well as dual solid flat-piston rigid-polymer-foam (RPF) 6.5-inch midrange/woofer drivers with the tweeter centered between them. A new extruded aluminum mounting flange and bracket system is designed to hold the new speaker securely to its drywall location.Model CI-110 ($500 suggested retail per speaker) is shipped with a white, paintable frame and measures 22 1/2 (H) x 8 3/4 (W) x 3 3/4 (D) inches.
