SpeakerCraft Launches RoX Outdoor Speakers

SpeakerCraft, introduced the RoX620 and RoX520 outdoor speakers at CEDIA EXPO 2000. SpeakerCraftís two new RoX speakers allow a high-quality speaker to remain completely unseen behind a grill that matches the surface and texture of real stone, said to be so closely it is nearly impossible to discern any difference. RoX speakers feature a finish comparable to a real rock. The RoX enclosure is made of a high-density blend of weatherproof resins, said to be durable enough to withstand rain, snow, hot sun and even the harsh chemicals applied to swimming pools. Both RoX speakers are two-way designs, with the RoX620 featuring a 6 1/2-inch polypropylene cone woofer with a sealed voice-coil rubber surround and silicone encased leads, and the RoX520 using a 5 1/4-inch version of the same woofer. The 1/2-inch Polyamide dome tweeter also in each model features silicone encased leads and is coaxially mounted. Both speakers are available in earth tone shades of either brown or gray.
