SpeakerCraft Announces Eazy6 Multiroom Preamplifier

SpeakerCraft introduced the Eazy6 6-Zone Preamplifier at CEDIA EXPO 2000. Allowing control of up to six separate zones, SpeakerCraftís Eazy6 preamp routes music from any audio source - including radios, CD players and cassette decks - to any room in the house.Using Eazy6 can reduce the number of audio sources typically required to play music in several different rooms, or zones, in the home. Eazy6s allows users to listen to one source in one room, while other family members can listen to a different source in a separate room.Each Eazy6-covered room is equipped with an infrared receiver controlled by one of the six remote controllers included with the preamplifier. Each zone is assigned one of the independent controllers, which is then pointed at an IR receiver to select sources, control volume, change tracks or channels, or rewind a tape. Most desired functions can be programmed into the Eazy6 remote. The Eazy6 6ñZone Preamplifier will be available in December from SpeakerCraft dealers.
