Energy Encore Voted European Home Theatre Speaker Of The Year 2000-2001

27-Sep-00

At their annual meeting in Switzerland, the panel members of EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association), awarded the Energy Encore speaker system the prestigious honor of Home Theatre Speaker of the Year for 2000-2001. Only one home theatre speaker system is so honored each year. The EISA Award is bestowed for meeting a comprehensive set of criteria - the most advanced technology, the most desirable features, the ultimate expression of design, the most satisfying ergonomics and the best value. And in a special note by EISA, the Encore system was called ""extraordinary speakers,"" and ""a lot more than the sum of its parts."" The EISA panel is comprised of members representing 40 prominent audio, home theatre, video and photo magazines, from 18 European countries. Through detailed, objective, and standardized test reports, member publications nominate a short list of products. At the annual meeting, the short list is presented for discussion using the EISAís criteria and the members cast a confidential vote to determine the final awards. This unbiased process is therefore highly regarded throughout Europe. The Energy Encore system is a complete home theatre system comprised of four very small satellite speakers with a matching center channel and subwoofer. Designed and manufactured to work together, the system delivers high-end performance even with moderately priced receivers. Engineered and manufactured by Audio Products International, the Encore system has been very well received by customers around the world and the EISA award underscores why so many listeners are impressed.
