Denon Electronics combines true component-quality sonic performance and compact, space-saving design with the introduction of two new Personal Component Systems, the Model D-M50 and Model D-M30. Both models are upgrades of the highly acclaimed D-M5 and D-M3 systems at no increase in price, and combine improved Denon electronics with Mission's superlative MS-50 bookshelf loudspeakers and a sleek, restyled appearance. In addition, Denon now offers its first shelf-system CD-R/RW recorder, the Model CDR-M30, as a system option, as well as its new DRR-M30 cassette deck. Denon D-M50The Denon D-M50 Personal Component System ($599 suggested retail price) offers a wealth of features that make it the perfect music system for the home, office, apartment or dorm room. It includes a 3-disc CD changer, AM/FM tuner and 30 watt-per-channel stereo amplifier in a single, compact chassis. The D-M50 incorporates technologies drawn from Denon's acclaimed audio separates for exceptional sonic performance, such as an advanced D/A converter for high-resolution, musically involving CD playback and a high-quality amplifier section that delivers clear, dynamic, room-filling stereo sound.The D-M50 includes a full complement of additional features, such as a high-quality AM/FM tuner with 40 station preset memory tuning, auxiliary inputs and outputs including an optical digital output for direct digital recording using the system's optional CDR-M30 or other CD recorder, a clock with sleep timer, a headphone output and many additional conveniences. The D-M50's sound quality can be tailored to the listener's preference using the bass, treble and SDB (Super Dynamic Bass) controls, or the controls can be bypassed in Source Direct Mode for maximum sonic purity. All functions can be operated using the supplied remote control.The included Mission MS-50 loudspeakers are the ideal complement to the system's high-resolution electronics. The CDR-M30 (SRP $499) records on both CD-R and CD-RW blank media, and includes digital and analog inputs to accommodate any music source. The CDR-M30 dubs pre-recorded CDs with exact bit-for-bit accuracy, and features a built-in sampling rate converter that allows direct digital recording of other digital music sources such as MiniDisc or DAT. The CDR-M30 offers complete CD recording flexibility and ease of use, thanks to features such as synchronized one-touch recording in both digital and analog recording modes, and a digital volume control to adjust the recording level of digital as well as analog signals to assure precise level matching when creating CD compilation discs.In addition, Denon now offers its optional DRR-M30 Cassette Deck, designed to record the highest-quality cassette tapes from any music source.
