2001 Show Expected To Be The Largest International CES Ever

Showcasing the latest innovations in the worldwide consumer technology industry, 2001 International CES - ìYour Source For Workstyle And Lifestyle Technologyî to be held Saturday, January 6 through Tuesday, January 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada, is expected to be the largest CES ever. With more than 1.1 million net square feet of exhibits already sold, CES will feature product and technology demonstrations from more than 1,500 international companies in digital audio and video, wireless communications, information technology, home networking, broadband, mobile electronics, satellite radio, content media, delivery systems and the Internet. More than 110,000 industry professionals from 125 countries are expected to attend the 2001 show. Although retail buyers still flock to CES with 89 percent of the retail buying power of the industry at the show each year, CES also draws more than 20,000 non-retail corporate buyers, financial/market analysts, content providers and creators, broadband developers and government officials.
