Sister companies Christie Inc. and Christie Digital Systems, Inc. announced they will merge to form one company under the name Christie Digital Systems. The merger, expected to be finalized in April 2001, will create one unified company dedicated to providing technologically-advanced projection solutions for cinema, control rooms, board rooms, conference centers, large venues, rental and staging, simulation, 3D and the emerging digital cinema marketplace.""There is a great synergy between Christie Inc. and Christie Digital Systems, Inc.,"" says Glenn Sherman, Chief Executive Officer.
