The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) encourages industry members to register as soon as possible for the first of CEDIA's 2001 regional education programs, which will take place on January 28 and 29 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.The first session of CEDIA's 2001 regional education program, ""A Regional Odyssey,"" will take place at the Fort Lauderdale Sheraton Airport in Fort Lauderdale on January 28 and 29. Each CEDIA regional education program slated for 2001 will offer more product-training sessions than ever, plus three new CEDIA education courses. CEDIA members can register for the Fort Lauderdale program at a discounted rate, $139, until January 7, 2001. Starting on January 8, the fee will increase to $159. This fee includes ten courses, breakfast and lunch both days, and dinner at the Super Bowl Party. Registration for CEDIA's first Regional Education program of 2001 is available online at www.cedia.org/education/index.html.CEDIA is encouraging attendees to make their hotel reservations as soon as possible as well. Hotel accommodations are available at the at the Fort Lauderdale Sheraton Airport. Attendees who make reservations before December 27 (phone 800 947 8527) will receive CEDIA's special rate of $129 per night for a single or double room.On Tuesday, January 30, the CEDIA Professional Certification exams (both Level I and Level II) will be given from 8 to 10am in the hotel.
