RBH Adds A Unique Bipole/Dipole Surround Speaker To Their Acclaimed Signature Series Line

RBH Sound introduces a new addition to their Signature Series line of loudspeakers. The 66-SE is a hybrid bipole/dipole surround speaker that can be mounted on the wall to create spacious surround channel effects, while maintaining crucial timbre match with the rest of the Signature Series line.The 66-SE is a rather unconventional speaker, housed in a conventional trapezoidal cabinet typical of bipole/dipole surround speakers. The two opposing 1-inch Ferrofluid fabric dome tweeters run in a dipolar (out-of-phase) configuration, causing the sound to bounce off the walls before reaching your ears, thus creating a less localized sound. The dipole tweeters are combined with two 6 1/2-inch woofers, which run in a bipolar (in-phase) configuration, creating a more localized sound while increasing bass response. The 66-SE strikes the perfect balance between unlocalized and localized sound to recreate a more dramatic surround sound experience in your home.Since the 66-SE is part of RBH's highly regarded Signature Series line, it is built using the same high quality parts as the rest of the line. Both the fabric dome tweeters and the proprietary aluminum mid-woofers are timbre matched to the rest of the line, providing for a totally integrated home theatre speaker array. The 66-SE is also solidly built using MDF (medium density fiberboard) construction that is internally braced to ensure structural integrity and eliminate unwanted cabinet resonance. Lightweight and compact, the 66-SE can unobtrusively be wall-mounted using the integrated mounted bracket on the back. Available in over 30 different real hardwood finishes, the 66-SE can easily be integrated into almost any lifestyle or room decor.
