PMPI's Premier Mounts division introduced its new Slimline mount series for plasma displays. This new series of mounts secures displays much closer to the wall. At the same time, it maintains the convenient features of its predecessor, the PDM series - including easy adjustment and easy lift-out removal - at the same price. Slimline mounts may be purchased as complete kits, or the plasma mount bracket may be ordered separately.""This innovative design cuts the distance between the plasma display and the wall by about 70 percent,"" says Len Dozier, President of PMPI, Premier Mounts' parent company. The tilting mount offers a continuous tilt range of 0 to 20 degrees or more, in either landscape or portrait positioning, using the company's exclusive dual-arm screw-tilt drive. The tilting Slimline mount holds plasma displays less than 1 1/2 inches from the wall, when in the flat position. The flat Slimline mount has two spring-loaded safety catches to hold it securely in a flat position against the wall. With this mount, the plasma display is even closer to the wall - less than one inch.Whether you choose the flat or tilting version, the Slimline mount has a safety lock feature for the landscape position. Both styles are easy to install.
