The color touch screen addition to the Pronto lineup, the TSU6000 displays 256 high resolution colors, has 8MB of memory and is IR/RF-capable. Together with the recently-launched Pronto TSU2000, the TSU6000 will allow consumers even more control and customization of their entire home theatre system with one remote. The Pronto Pro, which will be available in the second quarter of 2001 for $999, has a database of infrared codes for more than 500 brands in 17 product categories, which allows Pronto to memorize home theatre devices in seconds. It also has the ability to learn codes so that it can control current and/or future devices that may not be in its database.
