Including two models, Konka's high definition-ready line is sure to offer consumers everything they need to prepare for the digital television revolution. Konka announces two high definition-ready models - the HR3093U 30-inch 16:9 and the HR3289U 4:3. These HD-ready models are some of the first of their kind to offer many features present in high-end digital ready televisions at affordable prices. The HR3093U widescreen models looks exactly like the all-in-one Konka HDTV set. It is a sleek silver, streamlined work of art and offers great flexibility to users. The HR3289U has a black exterior cabinet and looks like a traditional 4:3 television set to ease the transition from analog to digital. Consumers have the option of purchasing a HDTV-ready model for less than a full high definition TV set, and adding Konka's HD001 high definition decoder/receiver either now or at a later date. Just like Konka's full HDTV set, the HR3093U set has efficient side mounted speakers and an internal 40-watt amplifier that projects great sound and creates a home theatre experience. Also, the HR3093U has Konka's patented digital super woofer and surround sound systems. This set is capable of displaying both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio formats, and has a 100 percent flat picture tube for optimum picture quality. The HR3093U has a native display format of 480p and, when used with Konka's high definition decoder/receiver, this HD-ready set can receive a full high definition 1080i picture.
