Konka USA, Ltd., the first high tech Chinese TV manufacturer to enter the U.S., introduced its new 50-inch rear projection TV at the Consumer Electronics Show. The P5098U is one of the world's first rear projection TVs to provide crystal-clear picture quality by combining Konka's newest I_C bus control, CCD delay line definition control and digital NTSC 3D comb filter technology to deliver 1,600 lines of resolution. ""The P5098U marks Konka's first step into the rear projection TV market,"" said Wendy Wu, Executive Vice President of Konka USA, Ltd. ""We are pleased to add this new element to Konka's already diverse product line."" The Konka P5098U offers premium sound with a built in subwoofer and multichannel stereo sound with intelligent adjustable audio, which can be set for auditorium, newsroom and theatre-like sounds. The P5098U is also equipped with a video noise reduction feature to eliminate bothersome background noise. The stereo headset output is an additional bonus for an enhanced personal theatre experience. Konka's 50-inch rear projection TV also boasts HD compatibility for added home theatre quality. It features picture-in-picture and closed caption capabilities, three S-Video inputs as well as 181-channel tuning.
