JVC Redesigns Their A/V Receivers And Packs Them With Features

JVC is introducing exciting new designs on its audio/video control receivers while adding leading edge features that make these units the best choice as the A/V center for next-generation digital sources. High Performance Multi-Room/Multi-Source Receiver The powerful RX-9010VBK features 120 watts per channel in a high-rigidity Z-Chassis with a new high performance 24-bit Motorola DSP. An RF LCD multi-brand remote unit conveniently controls built-in multi-room/multi-source capabilities. The RX-9010VBK can send different programs to separate locations for example - it can route video sound to the den while CD audio output is playing in a bedroom. The remote also controls all JVC A/V CompuLink components for ""one-touch"" home theatre automation. A front USB audio input provides for PC/Internet music playback, truly integrating the PC into the entertainment system of the new millennium. Line Direct offers high-fidelity playback of an analog source. The unitís AM/FM tuner features 15 AM and 30 FM station presets. The RX-9010VBK has a multitude of video switching capabilities with five A/V inputs, two component video inputs, five S-Video inputs, and four audio inputs. One coaxial and three optical digital inputs are assignable for TV/DBS, CD, CDR, MD and DVD as needed. An independent CD-R in/out is also featured. All channels have banana plug speaker terminals. Additional DSP functions include DolbyĆ Pro LogicĆ in full digital processing and an eight-soundfield Digital Acoustics Processor (DAP). Midnight mode, headphone mode and all-channel stereo mode are also available. In addition, the versatile RX-9010VBK has a wide-range frequency response of 7Hz-50kHz for DVD-Audio, independent CD-R input, and front A/V input with S-Video. The RX-9010VBK has many ease-of-use features. Text CompuLink displays CD text or programmed title information on the receiverís fluorescent display and built-in multi-color on-screen display. Users can see title information even when CD changers are placed out of sight and can select and categorize titles via the OSD and remote. RX-8010VBK And RX-7010VBK Offer Superior Engineering With 120 watts per channel and a new high performance DSP, the RX-8010VBK Audio/Video Control Receiver shares many characteristics with the RX-9010VBK. With redesigned cosmetics, it has an LCD multi-brand A/V-DBS-CATV remote control unit, AV CompuLink, digital EQ, midnight, headphones and all-channel stereo modes, front USB audio input for PC/Internet music playback, line direct for high fidelity playback of analog sources and Text CompuLink. In addition, the versatile RX-8010VBK, like the RX-9010VBK, has a wide-range frequency response of 7Hz-50kHz for DVD-Audio, independent CD-R input, and front A/V input with S-Video. The new RX-7010VBK Audio/Video Control Receiver packs 100 watts of power per channel. It has Dolby Digital/DTSĆ Digital Surroundô decoders built-in and is DVD-Audio ready with 5.1-channel input. The RX-7010VBK is controlled by an LCD multi-brand remote control. One coaxial and three optical digital inputs are assignable to TV/DBS, CD, MD and DVD as needed. DSP functions of the RX-7010VBK include Dolby Pro Logic in full digital processing and a five-soundfield Digital Acoustics Processor (DAP) for two-channel digital sources. It features three A/V inputs, three S-Video inputs and one optical digital output. The unit also has bass/treble tone control, bass boost, and 15 AM and 30 FM station presets. Finally, the new RX-6010VBK Audio/Video Control Receiver packs 100 watts of power per channel, and has built in Dolby Digital/DTS decoders. The RX-9010VBK will be available in April 2001 at a Nationally Advertised Value of $550. The RX-8010VBK will be available in March 2001 at a Nationally Advertised Value of $450. The RX-7010VBK will be available in February 2001 at a Nationally Advertised Value of $330, while the RX-6010VBK will be available in February 2001 at a Nationally Advertised Value of $260.
