JVC Debuts New MX Series With Triple-Tray DVD/CD Changer And Home Theatre Sound

JVC introduces DVD to its popular MX Series with the launch of the top-of-the-line MX-DVA9 and MX-DVA5 DVD Compact Component Systems. In addition, a new optional mini-CDR (XL-R910) is available. Each of these superb new MX Component Stereo Systems offer outstanding power, superior audio technology for precision sound reproduction, and the versatility of triple-tray DVD/CD or CD changers. With JVCís newest MX Series, having your own home theatre sound system is as simple as plugging in the MX-DVA9. Built to a higher standard with surround sound speakers, built-in DolbyĆ Digital, Pro LogicĆ and Dolby 3 Stereo, these hot new MX systems are designed to give you a true theatrical sound and feel in the comfort of your own space - whether thatís at home in the family room or at the heart of a campus party. Listeners can enjoy homemade CD anthologies with the MX Series CD-R/CD-RW compatibility. The powerful MX-DVA9 DVD Compact Component System has 400 watts of total output and is Dolby Digital, Pro Logic and Dolby 3 Stereo compatible. It features bi-amplified Twin Hyper Woofers (G-Max), subwoofers with four-layer voice coils, and subwoofer level control. DVD features include a 3-DVD/CD independent tray and DVD multi-angle and zoom functions. Additional sound features include Live Surround (dance club/hall/stadium) and S.P.I. (Spectro Peak Indicator). Three preset electronic EQs let you decide how you want the music to sound (rock/pop/classic), and three manual S.E.A.s offer even more creative control. The MX-DVA9 also has large asymmetrical display, extended Super Bass for more resonating lower octaves, optical digital output, 16-track program chart, 32-track programming, auto edit function and 15 AM and 30 FM preset stations. The double auto-reverse cassette deck has music tape scan for ease of track selection. To smooth out sound, the MX-DVA9 features a high-density elastic polyether urethane edge speaker. Its 3-way, 3-speaker, bass-reflex design has 6 5/16-inch (16cm) cone woofer, 2-inch (5cm) cone tweeter and 5 9/16-inch (14 cm) cone subwoofer. To top it off this system includes a full-range, bass-reflex design center and surround speakers to envelop you with movie sound. The new MX-DVA5 DVD Compact Component System offers many of the same high performance features and functions of its big brother in a package with 240 watts of total power. The MX-DVA5 features a three-disc carousel changer that allows music and movie lovers to play a mix of three CDs, CD-Rs, CD-R/Ws or DVDs. The bi-amplified G-Max system with Twin Hyper Woofers ensure that this system will rock the house. The MX-DVA5 features Dolby Digital and Pro Logic (two-channel mix down) compatibility, 20-track programming and three-way, three-speaker, bass-reflex design with a 5 1/8-inch (13cm) cone woofer, 2-inch (5cm) cone tweeter and 5 9/16-inch (14cm) cone subwoofer. JVCís MX-G70 and MX-G50 Compact Component Systems are equipped with JVCís latest powerful bi-amplified G-Max Twin Hyper Woofers. The MX-G70 packs 330 watts of power and offers a three-CD triple tray, double auto-reverse cassette deck and preset plus manual EQ. The MX-G50 outputs 240 watts and comes with a 3-CD carousel, and dual full logic cassette deck. The MX-G70 has a 6 5/16-inch (13cm) cone woofer, 2-inch (5cm) cone tweeter and 5 9/16-inch (14cm) cone subwoofer. The MX-G50 weigh in with a 5 1/8-inch (13cm) cone woofer, 2-inch (5cm) cone tweeter and 5 9/16-inch (14cm) cone subwoofer. Sought-after features on both include CD-R/CD-R/W compatibility, new controls with jog dial, subwoofer level controls, Extended Super Bass for richer bass tones, level meter indicator, 16-track programmability and live surround sound for dancing fun. JVC introduces an optional mini-CD recorder to add on to all of the MX systems. The XL-R910 features include Synchro-Record, record level control and full-function remote control. This unit also includes optical digital output, and line input and output, as well as coaxial digital output. JVCís MX-DVA9 DVD Compact Component System will be available in June at a Nationally Advertised Value of $660. The MX-DVA5 DVD Compact component System will be available in August 2001 at a Nationally Advertised Value of $450. JVCís MX-G70 Compact Component System will be available in March 2001 at a Nationally Advertised Value of $280. The MX-G50 is now available at a Nationally Advertised Value of $220. JVCís XL-R910 Mini CD- Recorder will be available in April 2001 at a Nationally Advertised Value of $550.
