JVCís core color television line is new and improved with impressive features added this year at CES, truly strengthening the performance and versatility of their televisions to accommodate more of what the consumer has come to expect from JVC products. Chief among these featured improvements is the incorporation of a three-line digital comb filter and component video input.A three-line digital comb filter delivers a sharper picture, smoother graphics, and a picture richer in color than standard televisions. In addition, all JVC core line color televisions will include a front A/V input and a component video input for extra easy access. JVC understands the consumerís ever-growing need for convenience. JVCís core line of color televisions range in size and features from the full-featured 36-inch AV-36260 on down to the 13-inch C-13210/11, an economical color television available in either black cabinet or white cabinet, ideal for countertop display.36-Inch ModelsThe top-of-the line AV-36260 features an impressive 750 lines of horizontal resolution. This full-featured unit also offers dual-tuner picture-in-picture and premium Hyper Surround sound, pumped out through two front-firing speakers. It is easily incorporated into any home theatre setup, but is especially suited to one featuring other JVC components, connecting via JVCís exclusive AV CompuLink EX.A second 36-inch model is also available, the AV-36230, which incorporates the same high performance and convenience features as its sister set, minus the dual-tuner PIP.32- And 27-Inch ModelsTwo 32-inch models are also offered for 2001. The AV-32230 and AV-32260 both produce 700 lines of horizontal resolution. A dual-tuner PIP allows the user to watch two different channels simultaneously (AV-32260 only). Both 32-inch models feature JVCís premium Hyper Surround sound delivered through two front-firing speakers. JVCís AV CompuLink EX provides for easy and efficient connectivity to other JVC components as a part of a home theatre experience, and is also featured on both models.A second 32-inch model is also available, the AV-32230, which incorporates the same high performance and convenience features as its sister set, minus the dual tuner PIP.In the 27-Inch category, the top of the line is the AV-27260. With 600 lines of horizontal resolution and a wealth of performance and convenience features; the AV-27260 is an ideal unit for many room applications. The AV-27230 is a moderately priced yet full-featured unit that provides 550 lines of horizontal resolution. The C-20210 is a 20-inch mono television, ideal for many monitor functions. It incorporates a multi-function timer, channel guard and earphone jack. The AV-20220 and AV-20221 are stereo televisions that also add front AV Inputs.In the 13-inch category, JVC is offering two models, the C-13210 mono television in a black cabinet and the identical television in a white cabinet, the C-13211. These televisions provide JVC quality in a unit that is small enough to fit comfortably on a kitchen countertop or mounted above a treadmill.All JVC televisions include V-Chip technology. The V-Chip allows parents to lock out certain programming that they deem offensive or inappropriate for their children. For 2001, all of JVCís television remote controls feature Return +, a handy feature for channel surfers. Return + allows the user to surf through channels to his or her heartís content, and to return instantly to the preferred channel with the touch of a button.Reflecting the ongoing global nature of our society, every JVC color television is equipped with a tri-lingual display menu, allowing the user to choose from among English, French or Spanish language display.New this year is JVCís newly designed universal Super Command remote control with DVD and VCR controls (AV Series only). This ergonomically designed remote control fits easily and comfortably in your hand and has a great number of ""user friendly"" functions. A four-way cursor control makes navigating JVCís menu system as easy as up, down, left and right.
