Cabling run from the Structured Media Center throughout the home is neatly terminated using Levitonís QuickPortô Snap-In Jacks and Modules. The QuickPort modules and jacks provide a quick, convenient way to terminate data, phone, audio and video connections in any combination in a single wallbox. Companion QuickPort wallplates feature port openings to accommodate any combination of QuickPort Modules, eliminating the need to install separate wallplates for each home wiring connection. Modules snap directly into the ports, allowing installers to custom configure the wallplate to meet any range of application requirements. Levitonís Decora Digital Chopinô Volume Control System replaces traditional transformers and rotary controls with an advanced, digital interface module and rocker switch wall unit. Distinctive Decora styling combined with transformer-less design brings simplicity and superior sound quality to the system. Each Chopinô volume control incorporates impedance matching to allow one amplifier to power up to six volume control zones. Chopin can control up to four pairs of speakers with up to three rocker switch units per audio zone (or room) in a variety of configurations. It mounts in a standard wallbox or low-voltage mounting bracket and connects via category 5 cable to the Interface Module in the Leviton Structured Media Center. The Chopin rocker switch matches distinctively with Levitonís Mural line of lighting controls and fits all Decora wallplates.Levitonís Decora Media System sends stereo audio and composite video signals for home theater and distributed audio/video over inexpensive Category 5 UTP wiring that typically sells for one-tenth the cost of dedicated specialized cabling. Its advanced circuitry with automatic equalization is capable of streaming analog audio and video signals over distances of up to 1,000 feet (300 meters) with no audible distortion or noticeable video artifacts. The Media System is designed to accommodate evolving entertainment technologies delivered over the Internet or broadband services. It is the ideal medium for distributing MP3 music or Internet radio from PCs and entertainment servers to other components throughout the home.Part of Levitonís Whole-House Stereo Package, the Multi-Room Infrared Repeater System controls audio/video selection in multiple rooms throughout the home. The system consists of an IR Target, IR Emitter and distribution block that distributes signals to multiple emitters. The IR Target takes the signal from a remote control for audio/video components such as a DVD player or home theatre receiver and converts it to a low-voltage electrical signal for use throughout the home. The system features low-profile, flush-mount targets, IR emitters and a power supply. The IR Target easily installs in ceilings and walls and connects with Category 5 cable to the IR Emitter.
