Celebrating the dynamic digital television marketplace, the DTV Store at the NAB 2001 convention features a full variety and some of the latest products and information available today from over twenty leading companies. A unique partnership creation of the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC), the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the DTV Store will be conveniently located in the Las Vegas Convention Center's Grand Lobby. NAB2001 is being held Saturday, April 21 through Thursday, April 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The DTV Store will not actually offer products for sale, but will demonstrate innovations in digital television and feature daily prize drawings. Exhibitors include, among others: accessDTV, Antiference, DecisionMark, Dolby, Echostar, Hauppauge Computer Works, Hitachi, Jensen, JVC, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung Electronics America, Santa Barbara Software, Sony, Global Telemann Systems, Thomson Multimedia, Toshiba, and Zenith.The DTV Store will feature televisions (integrated sets), monitors, standalone/set-top receivers, PC solutions and antennas.""TV manufacturers have really stepped up to the plate to improve DTV quality, enhance affordability and produce a wide variety of DTV monitors and receivers over the past few years,"" said CEA President and CEO Gary Shapiro.
