Motorola And ReplayTV Sign Licensing Agreement To Develop New Digital Set-Top Terminals With DVR Capabilities

In a move that will rapidly accelerate consumer adoption of personal TV in the cable industry, ReplayTVÆ Inc., a leading provider of personal television and digital video recording (DVR) technologies, announced it has signed a long-term licensing agreement with Motorolaís Broadband Communications Sector. In the agreement, Motorola (NYSE: MOT) names ReplayTV a primary provider of core DVR software for the creation of Motorolaís new personal television platform.
