Unfortunately, neither of these products was CL3-rated for in-wall use. Due to customer demand, Monster has decided to make them available for custom installation as well. XP CI and its beefier, high-performance cousin XPHP are now offered with UL-listed, CL-3-rated jackets. This means that customers will get a name they know and trust and the protection that a UL approved cable can provide.
