Eagle Vision, Inc. Presents ìEarth Wind & Fire: Shining Starsî Available On VHS and DVD August 21, 2001

ìEagle Visionî will release ìEarth, Wind & Fire: Shining Stars,î a 90-minute documentary film on this prolific group, on VHS and DVD on August 21, 2001. ìEarth, Wind & Fireî reveal their previously untold story with exclusive interviews and archive footage revealing the stories behind their songs, their inspirations and the secret to their long-standing success. ìEarth Wind & Fire: Shining Starsî includes exclusive interviews with founder and creative leader Maurice White as well as with band members Verdine White and Philip Bailey while Eric Benet and Wyclef Jean voice their respect to a band who created a new pop by fusing soul, funk, gospel, blues, jazz, rock and dance music. The program also showcases rare archival performances of classics like ìAfter The Love Is Gone,î ìBoogie Wonderland,î ìReasons,î ìSeptember,î ìShining Starî and ìCanít Stop Loveî as well as footage from past concerts and exclusive commentary by Maurice White himself. With a thirty year career highlighted by six double-platinum, two platinum and three gold albums to their credit, ìEarth, Wind & Fireî have fulfilled the true artistic criteria - to be influential, significant and to contribute to the development of music, as we know it. Following Earth Wind & Fireís induction last year into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, ìEagle Visionísî comprehensive documentary is a timely tribute. This year will also be one of Earth Wind & Fireís most active touring years in a long time with the U.S., Europe and Japan already on the schedule.
