By implementing Sage's award-winning video technology in its progressive scan DVD player, Skyworth is able to offer superior video quality while maintaining lower system costs. With the FLI2200's industry-first features such as proprietary Directional Correlational Deinterlacing (DCDiô) and patented film mode deinterlacing, the DVD-1050P provides smooth, natural-looking, high resolution images without motion artifacts. According to Gartner Dataquest, the Chinese DVD player market will grow from seven million units manufactured in 2001 to over fifteen million units in 2003. The FLI2200 supports 8/10-bit ITU-R BT656, 16/20-bit YUV and 24/30-bit RGB, YCrCb and YPrPb interlaced inputs and progressive outputs with auto-detection of NTSC/PAL/SECAM inputs.
