RGB Spectrum announces the introduction of the 3Viewô, a new multi-window display processor especially designed for 16:9 flat panels or projection displays. The 3View allows the user to show three full 4:3 images simultaneously on a 16:9 screen. The 3 View accepts six NTSC composite or three S-Video inputs, and displays up to three simultaneously. Display modes include full screen of a single image or multi-image, with a primary window and two side windows. Features include titling, borders, and bank switching. Brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue can be adjusted for each input. Setup and control are simple, with both front panel and RS-232 remote control. The 3View provides an 852 x 480 output resolution optimized for the most popular flat panel displays. An optional digital output is available for use with display devices equipped to handle a DVI signal. The new product is the latest in RGB Spectrum's View line of display processors. It offers a lower-cost alternative for applications where multiple video signals must be displayed on a single screen. For customers who require more signals on a display, or the addition of computer signals, or more flexiblity in the sizing and placement of windows, RGB Spectrum offers a full range of options in its SuperViewô, QuadViewô, 4Viewô, and DualViewô lines.
