Monster CableÆ will honor its custom installation (CI) dealers in the first Monster CI Dealer Awards Ceremony And Concert to be held during CEDIA EXPO 2001. Monster's awards and concert have long been a tradition during CES. Now Monster will pay tribute to CI dealers at CEDIA as well. The festivities take place on Friday, September 7 at the World Mardi Gras Music Hall. The post-awards concert stars Big Bad Voodoo Daddy who will make Indianapolis ""swing,"" literally. The sultans of the Swingers best-selling soundtrack, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy almost single-handedly brought back big band music and introduced it to a whole new generation of listeners.Big Bad Voodoo Daddy not only treats the audience to music that harks back to the era of Zoot suits and two-tone saddle shoes, but to their own contemporary music as well. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is currently on a U.S. tour, but will stop in Indianapolis, Indiana long enough to get the ""joint jumpin'."" Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a seven-man band with Scotty Morris doing vocals. They offer a mix of jazz, blues and rock. The entire evening is produced by Monster MusicÆ, Monster's in-house record label and entertainment division. Past Monster concerts featured music greats like Ray Charles, B.B. King, George Benson and James Brown. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy promises to be yet another rousing concert. Bobby socks are optional. For more information about Monster Cable, visit www.monstercable.com.
