""Our recent membership study indicated that the sales of custom-designed and installed systems has not slowed despite the recent downturn in the economy. The fact that we exceeded our attendance expectations at a time when trade show attendance is down across the nation reflects the prosperity of this industry and the continued demand for our services,"" said Hoover.Features on the show floor included the return of CEDIA's ""Garden of High Definition Delight,"" a showcase of the latest direct-view and high definition display devices, the enhanced Home Of Electronic Lifestylesô, a demonstration of a fully automated home in action, and the introduction of many new products by the nation's top manufacturers. Past President of Ferrari North America, Gian Luigi Longinotti-Buitoni, was the guest of honor during the CEDIA EXPO 2001 Keynote Breakfast on Friday, September 7. Longinotti-Buitoni, a strong marketing strategist and leader of his company's luxury sports cars, spoke to EXPO attendees on how they can craft marketing strategies to appeal to the fulfillment of their clients' dreams -- no matter how diverse those dreams may be.
