Sampo America Introduces First DVD Player With Compact Flash Digital Photo Display Capabilities

Sampo America, a wholly owned subsidiary of the leading Taiwanese consumer electronics manufacturer Sampo Corp., has expanded its product line to include a DVD player with a photo display management system, the DVE-631CF.  Building on the features of the original DVE product line, the DVE-631CF is the first product on the market to include a Compact Flash (CF) card reader. Both the CF cards and CD-R/RW can store photos, MP3 and video files. Once either the CF card or CD-R/RW is inserted, the television screen displays several folders so users can easily navigate and retrieve files using a remote control. The DVE-631CF also comes outfitted with MP3 and MPEG1 video playback capabilities and CD-R/RW support, so users can experience downloaded music on high quality sound systems. In addition, the Sampo products support multiple disc formats, including DVD, Video CD and Super VCD discs. The player is also compatible with CF cards of all memory sizes, so consumers can enjoy a variety of programming options.
