With its unique dual-plate and sliding-rod systems, this mount is one of the company's easiest to install. The series consists of just four kits that may be used to mount over 90 different plasma displays from leading manufacturers. The simplicity of the Clevis line means flexibility, easy ordering and easy stocking for distributors and others who keep a large number of mounts on hand. Designed for wall-mounting plasma displays in a horizontal configuration, the Clevis mount's dual plates may be attached to wood wall studs either 16 inches or 24 inches on center or to a solid wall. The company's exclusive heavy-duty, 0.5-inch diameter, steel sliding rods support the display, allowing lateral movement for precise horizontal placement. Attaching a Clevis mount to a wall is quick and easy. Determine the desired mounting height, and bolt the lower plate to the wall. Using the provided template, mark the precise location for the upper plate. Attach the mounting brackets to the plasma display. With both parts of the mount in place, simply set bracket hooks over the steel rods, and install safety knobs to hold the display in position. Once mounted, the plasma display can be left in a flat position or tilted up to 10 degrees to achieve the desired viewing angle. The bracket hook tensioners adjust to accommodate the specific weight of the display so that they can hold it securely in the desired tilt position.
