Crosby, Stills And Nash Headline The 16th Annual Monster Dealer Awards And Concert At The International CES

4-Dec-01

For the past 15 years, Monster Cable has hosted what's become the biggest social event of the International CES. Each year, three thousand-plus CE professionals from around the globe pack the house in anticipation of seeing who will be honored at the event, as well as the world-class concert that follows. Recent sobering events, however, have given an entirely different perspective to our normal activities. As Noel Lee, the Head Monster states, ""These tragic events make the selling of Monster Cable seem miniscule and insignificant in comparison to what's really important."" He continues, ""We will celebrate the 16th Annual Dealer Awards and Concert not as competitors in a tough market, but rather as one industry that can stand proud of our accomplishment of bringing a little more joy and happiness into American homes."" The stars of this year's concert are Crosby, Stills and Nash, the band that defined a generation. These music greats will perform songs from their nearly three decades as music stars. The Dealer Awards and Concert will be held in the Mirage Grand Ballroom on Wednesday, January 9, 2002. Crosby, Stills and Nash are known for their exquisite, signature three-part harmony. Their music through the years has not only entertained, but has held a mirror to deep personal truths and reflected profound social consciousness. This fact is underscored by their 1997 induction into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame. Songs like ""Teach Your Children,"" ""Our House,"" ""Suite: Judy Blue Eyes"" and ""Marrakesh Express"" are just a few of the hits that will be performed at the celebration. Past Monster concerts featured music greats like James Brown, Ray Charles, B.B. King, and George Benson. This year's concert promises to be another memorable evening. Seating begins at 7:30pm. The awards presentation begins at 8:30pm. The entire evening is produced by Monster Music, the recording division of Monster.
