Samsung Enhances DVD Player Line With Innovative EZ Remote

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. has introduced a new line of DVD products, starting with the DVD-S321 and DVD-721M players that debut Samsung's innovative EZ Remote. This handy, egg-shaped ""bonus"" remote offers quick, intuitive navigation of key functions. The palm-sized EZ Remote offers users complete control in a simple, compact handheld device. Basic operations include power, play/pause, stop and forward, and reverse skip/search buttons, as well as menu navigation and TV volume controls. FThe full universal remote controls a host of TVs, VCRs and other equipment, as well as the DVD-S321 and DVD-721M. This remote features a joystick system that allows single-finger control over both players' navigation features, including screen fit, chapter digest and full-motion zoom, even as the movie is playing. The DVD-721M adds 3:2 pull-down progressive-scan output capability. The DVD-S321 and DVD-721M feature titanium-finish front panels and a 17-inch-wide chassis.
