Toshiba Introduces Expanded Lineup Of Flat-Screen FST Pure Color TV's For 2002

Toshiba's FST Pure direct-view TV family includes a total of 17 models (including six HDTV-compatible sets and two new widescreen 34-inch models with DVI/HDCP interface.) Screen sizes in Toshiba's new FST Pure family range from 14- to 20-, 27-, 32-, 34w-, and 36-inch models.All new Toshiba FST Pure SuperTUBE color TVs (32- and 36-inch models) feature newly designed, streamlined silver finish cabinets with double-baffle stereo side speakers and matching stands. Features include Dynamic Quadruple Focus and Advanced VSM (velocity scan modulation). In addition, Toshiba's improved IDSC II (Intelligent Digital Scan Conversion) technology, included in all FST Pure HDTV-compatible sets, automatically converts 480i images to 480p, and automatically passes through 480p and 1080i images.
