Toshiba is offering its MT7 portable LCD projector. It delivers a rated 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness weighs in at just over 11 pounds. The MT7 is capable of HDTV resolution, and features 1280 x 720 LCD panels, a rated 400:1 contrast ratio, and screen size capability of 30 to 300 inches diagonal. The MT7 utilizes three polysilicon 16:9 TFT active matrix LCDs -- one each for green, blue, and red output. The MT7 also incorporates Toshiba's exclusive T-ForcMK2 processor to enhance image quality. T-ForcMK2 utilizes sophisticated digital video interpolation and compression techniques to eliminate jagged edges and produce clean, smooth images, while resizing different display resolutions to fill the projection screen without the need for manual adjustment. The Toshiba MT7 accepts all NTSC and ATSC signals and displays them in true 720p HD. The projector includes S-video, composite video, and analog RGB inputs.
